Band Bio

Lost Twenty was formed in 2007. Following the break-up of their previous band ‘Cars as Weapons‘ two years earlier, singer Will Prowse and guitarist Andrew McCarthy began working on new acoustic material together.
Following a few informal performances, two more members were added (Chris Dalton – Drums, Kev Hutchins – Bass) to complete the full band line-up.
The band recorded their first demo together at Nightfly Studios in April 2007, comprising three songs – ‘Feel Like I Belong’, ‘Self Control’ and ‘Pictures on the Wall’. This was followed up with a second demo session later in the year, recorded at the band’s resident South Avenue Studio for a single track – ‘Smash the Lock’.
After some well received shows at the beginning of 2008, the band went on a self-imposed hiatus for much of the year but went back into the studio to record 5 brand new songs in November. Shortly following the recording of these songs, Kev Hutchins and Chris Dalton departed, so the band recruited Mike Nott on bass guitar and Russ Lightfoot on drums to complete the line-up once again.
With renewed focus and determination the band are looking to step up their recording and performances within 2010 and make a significant impact on the domestic music scene.
