- Unfortunately Will couldn’t make practice last night, but the rest of us worked hard on tightening up for the Chinnerys gig on the 8th. #
- My favourite name for one of the new songs in progress – ‘Chow Mein’
# - Is taking forever trying to get the website and all the social media site profiles done. But will be worth it once finished. #
New Temporary Website
Though it has been useful for the band in the past to have a MySpace page, I’m not really a fan, and always prefer to have a proper dedicated website. So that’s why I’ve thrown this site up as a central store for all things Twenty.
The current template is only temporary (I just wanted to get something up) while we wait for our designer to create a unique and bespoke one. So hopefully we’ll have an announcement soon of the final proper website.

Finishing Studio Touches

Today was spent down at No Recording Studio in Rayleigh, home of John Hannon (guitarist in successful 90s Southend hardcore band Understand).
The band recorded 5 tracks there with John in December and January and today was just to add some finishing touches.
Andy did some overdubs and repairs on some of the guitar tracks. Then with Will added some more backing vocals.
Hopefully the songs will be mixed soon so we can get them out there.
Mike Joins the Band
Finally, we’ve found a replacement for Kev!!
Mike Nott has been a friend of Will’s since they were young and both used to play and record a lot of music together. He is actually a guitar player by trade, but Will has somehow convinced him to lose 2 strings and take over the L20 bass department.
Mike also seems to be quite organised and looking to make things happen for the band, so here’s to a prosperous looking 2009!!
A.
